RIP Steve McNair

I know that NFL QB Steve McNair ended his career at Baltimore but he will always be a TN Titan to me. He and an unidentified woman was found shot to death today in Nashville today. He was only 36 with children and a wife. I'm so sad, he gave back so much to the Nashville community and just opened a resturant in a struggling black area of Nashville just 2 weeks ago. I truly admired his hard work on the football field.

and now the speculation begins.....who was the girl he was also shot? was he cheating on his wife? did his wife kill them both? or was it a murder suicide?

R.I.P Steve... He was a Mississippi great! came up from a SWAC school (Alcorn State) in the boonies of Mississippi.

 To much killing going on these days... People so quick to turn to guns

Its always sad...especially for his children....what is a "SWAC" school?

that is the football conference he played in Southwestern Athletic Conference... also Alcorn state is a Historically Black College.... Mississippi was proud of Steve... He never forgot where he came from... Always giving back to the community.

Thanks.  I graduated from Howard in the 80's.  I didn't make it to too many football games (obviously). I lived in NOLA for about 5 years - always wanted to make it to that Grambling/Southern Game  or at least the battle of the bands - but never made it.

I am completely floored right now!

Well RoRo it was an apparent murder suicide. He has been dating this 20 yr old Iranian girl and he was shot twice in the chest and twice in the head and she was shot once in the head and the gun was under her. This disappoints me so much. He leaves behind 4 children and a wife. He gave so much to the Nashville community. He just opened a restaurant near TSU so the students would have an inexpensive place to eat and a place to work. He did camps for under privileged kids. I'm so sad to know that he was cheating.
