LOL@ social drink - it's as if there's a timeline for a 'non-social' drink......
My doc said 1 year - I drank ONE drink at 5 mos out (I turned 30, it was my B-day, SUE me) then I didn't again until the 1 year mark......

2 1/2 months out, I held a vodka over ice and pretended to sip 5-6 times (rather than discuss why I was not drinkng which is totally out of character for me). I got drunk from the contact with my lips. No swallowing. Thankfully, I was in a hotel casino bar where drunk was the norm.
4 months out, had 1 sip of communion wine. I got drunk, again. Had to race the preist out of the church to flush my system with water so the world would stop spinning. I was so embarrased.
My doc says one year and I will be sticking to it.
