Your favorite protein mix?

I'm on my 2nd tub of the one from Walmart - Body Advance or something of that nature, but I TRULY hate the graininess (looks/tastes like sand) that's left at the bottom of the glass.     I want to get something local that I know will be there the next time, nothing online.

I have GNC, Trader Joes & Walmart but don't want to waste my money buying something nasty.  Any suggestions?!

I use the Walmart brand Body Fortress too.  Try blending it in the blender with ice and fruit....I use banana....and that grainyness will not be there.

Mixed with the above using the orange sf walmart brand packets, my smoothie tastes like a creamcycle!

The purest protein on the market (IMO) is Isopure protein powder.  My favorite is the zero carb strawberries and cream.  I also use the dutch chocolate and the peach.  Isopure is pricey, but I swear by it.

I also use the cheap protein (Body Fortress) from Walmart mixed in coffee.

Hey Cookie....thanks for that heads up on the Isopure.  I don't know if you know that they sell it online for $37.50 at Isopure's website.

Thank YOU!  I have been ordering from netrition.com and they sell it for a few cents more.  I will be making the switch to Isopure's website.

I love when we help each other like this!

I switched to Isopure Zero Carb protein powder - it is VERY good! I mix it with fresh strawberries, crushed ice and water...50 gms of protein (2 scoops).

Now it is a little pricey ($65-70/3 lb. tub at GNC); however, you can purchase it online at Isopure's website for $37.50 - which is what I've done).

P.S.  if you decide to do so, I would HIGHLY suggest you invest in a Magic Bullet - it does great with throughly mixing the protein shakes!

I use Body Fortres from Walmart and Isopure. I add fruit to both with ice. BY using a blender it's not grainey. So I love them.
