Dog Ears

I have been hearing about dog ears after plastic surgery. What does it look like? There is info on the web but no pics. (I am serious...pls no poodles, pits, or yorkie pics). I need to know about this.

The plastic surgery board may also have some answers for you regarding this. I absolutely RODE the PS board before and after my brachioplasty.... and they were more than happy to answer any questions. Doctors monitor that board too, and often times will answer your questions. Dr. Lomonaco (sp) answered several questions I had before my surgery....

I wish that I had taken a picture of mine before he butchered it trying to fix it again. Even after all that it still does not look right.  So you know I am hoping after Thursday everything will be fixed properly. 

I'm nowhere close to having plastic surgery but just wanted to know what dog ears were.

If I am right...apparently when the surgeon closes up the procedure the sutures make a pointon the sides of the waist. If the surgeon makes a little effort the ends can be tapered and no little points will appear. I think this is right!
Faith correct me if I am wrong.

That pretty well describes it.  The points (pieces of left over sking/fat) are shaped like a dog's ear.

This is me 6 weeks out from my tummy tuck (Still Swollen)<<<<<<< I had a small dog ear if you will notice to the right of the pic.  However that side has went completely down.

As I have told many of people it depends on well your surgeon can tighten your skin.
