Great questions, great answers..... some how I missed this information about it beging for life.... or perhaps I just forgot. I'm faithful to my vitamins, but not so much with my B12.... thanks.... great post!

Hello Diva I was told for life also.  I give myself a shot every month that I REMEMBER too or feel slussish(sp).  Now I do take a multi vit. And know going backon high protein.

I probably need more protein ....now that warm weather is here all I wanna eat is fruits and salads

B12 deficiency can mimick neurological disorders like MS (cognitive disfunction, balance and coordination issues, etc.), but I don't know what other symptoms there are.  I was told we need a minimum of 200% of rda for life after rny.  I take sublingual b-complex daily.  Available everywhere and it has plenty of all the b vits for wls patients.
