Hey just checkin to see if any of my BAF peeps will be in da NO for the Essence Festival? I'm so excited!!! This is my first year going not all puffy like the dayum stay puff marshmellow man! I'm going home today to pack alll my outfits that leave nuffin to the imagination LMAO. We're leaving Thursday and coming back Monday............who else will be in da place?

I sure hope you have a good time - I went to the Festival right after they moved it back to NO after Katrina...... MISTAKE!!!!! So I will have to wait and hear your review before I even consider EVER going again......... LOL

I don't just have issues, I have subscriptions! I'm saving on the newsstand price.......

As long as I get some good food, good drinks, and the concerts are good. I'll be good! We got tickets for all 3 shows and they have some good people scheduled. But I will give a full report! Last time I went was pre-Katrina.

I should ride over there but don't want to deal with them crowds. They set up bus rides from my work for the Jazz Fest but don't set up shiznit for Essence. I worked a booth (for work) at the seminars last year. A brotha could get into trouble really quick like.
