Challengeing myself
So I know I can do better and step up my actions towards being a healthy weight. So today I am going to do one hour on the elliptical and weights. I am also going to quit grazing. These are the promises I am making to myself. I will be prepared and take care of myself. What are you doing for yourself today?
Well yesterday I pulled out the treadmill it was dusty and h*** and got on it and walked like I said i was gonna start doing.
Today I have already had a protein shake for breakfast, getting ready to take my vitamins, and plan of getting back on treadmill this evening sometime. I also need to stop grazing. I will be eating healthier.

I will plan my meals. It makes staying on progam so much easier.

V'N MY RNY. WORKING FOR ME BECAUSE I WORK FOR IT.
I am enjoying my last "free" day today. I will recommit tomorrow. I had been almost steadily working at it since May 6th and as a result of my personal challenge, I was able to lose 18.4 in just under 7 weeks! My new challenge is to be weigh 185 pounds by Labor Day.
People are so worried about what they eat between Christmas and the New Year, but they really should be worried about what they eat between the New Year and Christmas. ~Author Unknown
I'm so glad you posted this!!! Last night I had a "come to Jesus" conversation with myself. I had my LapBand surgery in October 2007 and should have BEEN at goal by now. My treadmill started acting up a couple of months ago and I used it as an excuse. Last night I said no more excuses. My mom lives about a half mile away and has a treadmill. I threw on my workout clothes, jogged my butt over there, got on the treadmill and jogged home!!!!
I've been eating right for the last few days! No more excuses for me!!!!!

Yesterday I set another goal for myself by Nov..... and imagined myself there. Imagery helps !
Today I bought my lunch to work......went to the Duane Reade and grabbed me a few bottles of water.....gotta have that H20 at work to help me reach my water goals.
I have been tracking my food intake.
I have my gym bag at work with me.......so I can hit the gym once I get off.
And I also have a positive attitude that if I do what I must...the weight will slowly but steadily detach itself from me.....

I'm stepping it up also. More planning my meals................backing off of the grazing so much. Moving much more with water aerobics, a belly dance class (starting fri) a little strength training and just walking more (i'm at the beginners level). I really regret not using my honeymoon phase to the fullest..................these remaining pounds are so difficult to get off. But i'm optimistic........I know this thing works
because I just had 1/2 of a smart one that didn't agree with me at all
