You know as well as I do that some sistas will look down on a brotha for apologizing ("He's soft-hearted...  I need a thugg...").  She may not come out and say it to him but she may not find it to be all that "attractive" if he readily does so.

consider the source.   not tambout crying curled up in a fetal position while we watch the notebook.  grown ass women know that displaying humiity is a plus.

Agreed!  I do think there are those individuals that take kindness for weakness, but grown ass woman know....a kind heart....girl please...too sexy!!!

A lady deserves the respect of when you're wrong you apologize.

For reals - if I CARE about you - I will say I'm sorry when I am wrong.  If I don't give a flip - I ain't giving up NO ground..... EVER!!!! 

My husband has this one "I'm sorry" rule.  He only apologizes once and you had better move on from that subject.  I'm guessing that's his way of staying hard and not looking like a wimp.  I don't care for it because sometimes it may need to be said a couple times to show your sincerity.  With cheating... a man or woman will have to apologize more than once to get that thing to float. 

Um and when is Kate going to apologize for being a ***** to him for 10 years?

drea - hey ma-ma.  i can't speak up on this one cuz i don't think she's a ***** - if anything their trials n' tribs have made me like her more for refusing to take the blame for another person's actions - see she's perfectly willing to say i could've said that to him more nicely, (to me) that's not even close to yeah i cheated and okay sure whatever, i'm sorry  <-- not even close.   um, wow okay i guessi could speak up.  lol!!
