appetite

Question folks,
Being a recovering food addict, post-op I have days when I just don't feel like eating.  I practice listening to my body and all that jazz when it comes to over eating.

My question is do I just listen to my body when I don't feel to eat or should I try to get in some healthy morsels?

Right now it's 3:05p.m. Eastern standard time and all I've managed to get down was a few grapes and 1 strawberry.  However, I did drink my protein this a.m. and got some water in.

What say you vets? newbies?

I asked something similiar a few days ago. Scroll down to my post titled "Mid morning food suggestions"?

They told me to EAT but make sure it's healthy!  I am following their suggestions - and it's working!  Once I "get my mind right, my body will follow".   EVen this morning, about 10am I felt lightheaded & ready to hurl.  Grabbed 4 triscuit's and a wedge of laughing-cow.  I'm GOOD to go and don't feel like I fell off the wagon.  (I'm paranoid about going back to 316)

Good information they wrote, check it out.

Listen to your head and eat what you are suppose to eat. You will stall out.

Is your ticker correct?

Maybe this is why you've only lost 25lbs in five months.

Check this...my rapid weight loss didn't start until I started to push foods...and I mean hard. Girl, you know you can't get by off of strawberries or grapes. Push the issue and try something different each day. You really do need to incorporate more into your diet.

The thought of eating made me want to hurl. And when I started to increase the amount I started to freak out...thought I was going to move the scale in the wrong direction.

The scale moved way down in the correction direction.

You only have 12-18 months to easily lose the weight. Take full advantage and eat right. Contact your NUT and let her give you a meal plan.

I hope things work out for you.

Thank you for your advice.  However the 25lb. weight loss is from the start of the honeymoon challenge.  My overall total weightloss post wls to date is 83lbs.

I appreciate the concern but trust me when I tell you that if I only lost 25lbs since wls y'all would have heard from me long ago.
