Summer is finally here in the Chi! Unfortunately that is not motivating me to workout much, hate being so hot/sweating etc. Anyway, I am eating pretty good still, thinking of doing liquids only a few days just to give myself an extra push. This challenge is almost halfway over and I am not halfway to my goal so I guess I better step things up. It is supposed to rain this morning but I will probably go for a walk at some point.

Go Honeymooners!!

Honeymoon Challenge - Goal is to lose 60 lbs by Labor Day.

Last week was good, I hit the gym 3x I was on point with all my water vitamins protein meals etc.
I'm down about 3-4lbs not quite sure.  My scale was going haywire this morning, gave me a different weight about 5 times fluctuating between 6 lbs. so idk

Anyway, I just hope that I can keep it up, I'm only a few lbs. away from my all time lowest adult weight!

Lets Get It!

I lost one pound.  That's really sad but at least the scale is moving down instead of up.  Got my vitamins and protein in and light exercise.
I have discovered that maintaining is a lot easier than losing.

It is a challenge for people in the honeymoon phase of weight loss, like you. We are not following any specific plan, just holding each other accountable thru this weekly post and trying to meet our individual goal by labor day. For me, I am trying to lose 60 lbs by labor day, not to get to my ultimate goal, just a mini accomplishment. We post about what worked and what didn't relating to what we are eating and how we are exercising.

Thanks for the education.  Now that I know its time for me to posse up!

I'm not wasting any more time on the nutritionits plan that has just not worked for me.  I've been gaining weight on and off and for six weeks trying to loose the same 5 lbs.

I have trashed the nut and started doing my own research and my own thing since Friday.  Finally I've lost all the gain (again)  1 1/2 pounds.  By labor day I want to be at 163 lbs or better.

The scale is finally moving in the right direction.  Twenty five lbs to go!

I recently bought this gowear fit device that counts my steps.  I've been walking over 10,000 steps a day for the past week.  Its really encouraging knowing how far you've walked.  It motivates you to go even further.

BTW, 10,000 steps is about 5 miles!!
