If you're like me, then you're missing your icee's and Frosty's right about now. Well one way to get some protein or water in and get that slushy texture is to freeze your protein drink or crystal lite in a ice cube tray and then put a few cubes with some frozen fruit in your magic bullet and blend. I know it's not the same thing but you would be surprised how good a frozen chocolate protein shake with sf peanut butter added and a frozen chunk of banana tastes after being without a frosty for 15 months !!!!!  Or some frozen sf cherry limeade with frozen strawberries. Try some of these mixes and cool off in this heat and get your protein in or water in also. Just don't freeze the protein more than a day in advance and only 1 serving at a time so the protein won't break down. Get to drinking y'all. (the right stuff)

I love my bullet. I make frozen smoothies several times a week. One of my favorites is using sf strawberry banana  drink mix with a splash of sf ginger ale (I know we're not supposed to have carbonated drinks, but somehow the carbonation goes out of this in the blender. I guess it because I use so much ice.), about a cup of ice, and a table spoon of sf frozen strawberries. It's sooo smooth and taste just like a virgin strawberry daquri.

I use frozen fruit in my drinks all the time.  Its a great way to lend variety to the same old protein.
