fresh home juices
Hey There:
I've gotten rid of 2 Juicers...because I couldn't believe the disappointment of the first one relative to Time, Cleaning and Expense (had to do it again). You have to be committed to it and doing it Right.
Just a note: Fresh juice is good...but like any juice, it leaves out one of the most important parts of the fruit>>>the PULP. The pulp is loaded with more vitamins and FIBER. 8 oz of Orange Juice equals 4 Oranges (and WHO Stops at 8 oz); and keep in mind that Fructose is Sugar (Fruit Sugar). It can also be a very expensive proposition, especially if you juice fruit. If you are going to juice Veggies, the ones that people most like are also HIGH in sugar (Carrots, Tomatoes, Beet Roots...) So, from experience, be careful juicing, it can fool you relative to Calories and Sugar content. Remember, the vitamins Depreciate in fresh juice the longer it is not consumed (it is recommended that fresh juice be consumed within an hour of juicing), unless you freeze it (which distorts the taste a bit and kinda kills the purpose of Juicing).
Now, I just go to Whole Foods and Go to their Fresh Juice Counter and tell them the Concoction I want>>>Leave the cleaning to them and I'm ready to drink it right then.
