NYC Meet and Greet. Last call for theater tickets.

Hey family.

For those of us attending the NYC Meet&Greet and attending the revival of "The Wiz" (see below), the deadline for payment will be Monday, June 15th.  The performance will take place on Satuday, June 27th, @ 8p.m.  The tickets will cost $25.00; the seats are located in the third orchestra section.  When making payment, you can do so through www.paypal.com (my email is [email protected]).  Please advise me if you have sent me the payment so I can look out for it (also, please advise me of your gov't name-lol)

For those who aren't attending the theater performance, we'd still love to see you at the dinner earlier that night. 

Please let me know if you will be joining us at Dallas BBQ that night (www.dallasbbq.com) as I will have to make reservations for that night.

The Wiz, the 1974 rock and soul musical based on the beloved L. Frank Baum story about Dorothy and her adventures in Oz, won seven Tony Awards including Best Musical, Best Score and Best Choreography. The Encores! Summers Stars production of The Wiz will be directed by Thomas Kail and choreographed by Andy Blankenbuehler, the duo who brought the Tony Award-winning In the Heights to Broadway last season.

* Colman Domingo joins the cast as the Wiz beginning June 29.

I think you all are doing a great job at planning the event......looking forward to finally meeting you.

Not sure what I will be attending but you know I gotta have my face up in one of the places....

see, u spoiled the surprise.  My flying monkey costume is in the mail and being delivered to me. lol.

  The play seems like a great idea. I think Im gonna hold off and see it with the family. I have been trying to get my daughter (16) to watch the movie for the longest time.  Im curious to see how different the play would be from the movie. I know alot will have to be edited for sake of time cause that movie is mad long. Great cast choices.

I loved the flying monkeys - they were so cool.

Man you know you are too handsome and too tall to play that part.  

I hope whoever goes has a wonderful night !
