Sunday Dinner - ya girl is BACK on the block!!!!
LOL hey Fam!!!! Whew CHILE - this recovery is NOT going along MY schedule!!!! I am so much farther behind than I planned!!!! I'm very frustrated to say the LEAST!
ANYHOO - I DO feel human enough to cook one dish today - I will do my chicken spaghetti with elbow pasta instead of spaghetti - got extra chicken and will put cheese on the top to kick it up and make it really hearty and tasty.

How are you doing today? Trina glad to see ya back postin the Sunday dinner thread. I look forward to it every Sunday as you see lol lol - I just like to see what others are cooking and to get some ideas on meal choices. Now i have a question for you - Is the elbow pasta healthier than regular spaghetti? And also do you use the whole grain pasta? Just curious. Anyways today, I am making turkey drumsticks and turkey thighs in my crockpot seasoned with broth, celery, green peppers, onions, minced garlic, poultry seasoning, sage, and herb & garlic seasoning - also making some brussel sprouts and some mashed potatoes for my daugher and my boyfriend. I just plan to eat the turkey and veggies. I'ma do like you Trina and go ahead and make a few dishes ahead of time for next week - making creamy parmesan pasta salad with some of the turkey mixed in for protein, and I am cutting up some celery to have for snacks with cream cheese & peanut butter, might make some pinwheel sandwiches for snacks & lunches next week as well. Dang I'ma be busy today lol lol. Anyways i'ma about to hop in the shower and get ready for church. Talk to you later ma.

Naw elbow is not better than spaghetti - and I don't use whole wheat or nothing 'healthy' - just plain old, cheap as hell, Great Value brand pasta from Wal Mart.... LOL It's good than a mofo tho!!!! HAHAHHAHAHAHAHA

i'm going to grill some boneless skinless chicken breast for the kiddos (they don't like fish) and have some mac and cheese.
for the week i'm fixing a shrimp/baby spinach salad. i just cut up some turkey bacon and cooked to a crisp to add as my bacon bits. it'll have some boiled eggs, artichoke hearts and some red vine vinaigrette...that's lunch for a few days this week. i'm also making a chicken salad with the leftover rotisserie chicken...that should be it. happy sunday all!

Hey Trina! I'm glad you're posting I was starting to worrry about you! Today is my first day of doing a plateau buster diet. I am seriously in a rut and I am going to be down 100 lbs by my 2 year surgiversary if it kills me!
Anywho I'm planning on making just a regular ole taco salad without any shells. Just layer of lettuce, refried beans, ground beef, seasonings, and cheese, and salsa.
I'm also going to make a cornish hen flavored with rosemary and thyme so I can have something healthy after work tomorrow, I guess I'll mke some beans of some sort or maybe sautee spinach with a little garlic to go with it. we shall see.

Not cooking at all today. We are having leftovers from yesterday's graduation celebration which was shrimp pad thai and some kinda chicken dish my mom had. Plus leftovers from Thursday and that was chicken burgers, sauteed onions, mushroom gravy, rice and mixed veggies.
