Dare I say it . . . The Color Purple.  But, I also love the Matrix, Mahogney, and Footloose.  I've seen them all more times than I can count. 

I have several faves, depending on my mood.

They vary from The Godfather and Goodfellas, to The Matrix and The Pirates of the Carribbean, to Casablanca and The Treasure of Sierra Madre.

I have a question, though:  I have seen a lot of ppl list Imitation of LIfe as their all time fave.   If it weren't for Mahalia Jackson singing at the funeral at the end and the daughter suddenly being regretful of her treatment toward her mother, would it be the tearjerker it turned out to be (yeah, I admit to seeing both this version and the original, black and white version)?  Just curious.
