Easy, Imitation of Life.  Its a tear jerker for me, but there is something about trying to pretend to be something you're not and breaking down and realizing what is important in ife-even if it is too late.

Absolutley ! My grandmother introduced this movie to me as a child.  I have chills thinking of the daughter running to the casket at the end. it still makes me cry

I think I like the original better, although they show the remake way more.   In the orgiinal sara jane's mom was more of the lead character's  partner then her servant, so they seemed more like equals.

Even though I like the remake, Lana Turner played that same role like she was 'massa", although the sara jane character is more riveting & compelling in this version.

Mine have changed throughout the years.  I'd declare one then here comes another.  But I think I might have to say Friday.

The Color Purple and Hotel Rwanda

I also love all of the Lethal Weapon & Die Hard movies. I can watch any of these over and over.
