I need help serious help. I gained 17 lbs working three jobs. Well, I am giving up one job this week as my clientele grew this week with my 2 other jobs. I got addicted to McDonald's Iced Mocha. I *** ed up! So, when I get an ice coffee I ask for sugar free, non fat, and no whip cream. I bring my protein powder and add it to the coffee. My Nut said to go back to eating six mini meals from 3 and I have gained weight since initiating that suggestion. Any comments would be appreciated!!!!!!!

At least you caught it before getting waaaaaaay out of control! 
You already know what worked for you before, just go back to basics and you will be fine.

Heeey baby girl! I see you said you're eating 6 mini meals, but are you eating six mini protien, low fat, complex carb meals. Like Kim said go back to the basics and cut a lot of stuff out (refined carbs, high carb fruit, caffiene, and the other stuff that you took time to add) and gradually add them back in once you get in control.

You can do it!!

You can do this.....go back to what you know works.  Take FULL inventory of what you are eating and when you are eating.  You've got this!!!!!!!!!!

Hey Pink, Go back to basics.  This might help you...(Always keep this from Madame)

We have talked about accountability, about being overwhelmed and consumed by weight loss. We have shared tears and laughter talking about our ups and downs. We cheer each other on as we reach our goals and dish out quick insight to those who are in need of direction and guidance.

As post ops no matter how far out we are we often have to be totally honest with ourselves and get back to basics.

When you hit a plateau you can not shake....back 2 basics.
When you can not loose those last few pounds....back 2 basics.
When your pouch is acting up and will not relax....back 2 basics.
When you are tired, lifeless and have no energy....back 2 basics.
When you get off track and need to get it together...back 2 basics.
When you have been away from the gym for far to long....back 2 basics.


We all know what I'm talking about.

Eat right - small portions, protien first, low carbs, no sugars, no breads, rice, potatoes or pasta. Don't drink with your meal - wait 30 minutes.
Drink WATER - 64 - 92 ounces every day. No sodas or sugar laced beverages, limit alcohol consumption.
Take your vitamins. ALL OF THEM. Multi Vitamin, B12, Calcium, Iron, B complex.
Drink protein supplements 40 - 60 grams of protein per day.
Exercise - 30 minutes of cardio minimum 30 minutes of weight resistance.
Get adequate sleep 8 hours each night
Follow up with your surgeon. Get blood work done regularly.


You know...the basics. The wonderful thing about WLS is you can always go back and start each day fresh and it does work. When you get off track ~ the basics will bring you back.

Pink my suggestion is to do a food journal of everything you eat and drink. keep a tally of the amount of protein,calories, and water you're consuming. Also lets not forget the exercise. Which is also key if you've been inactive for a while your body needs something to do with those excess calories.

We live too close let me know if u wanna do a walk or something! or any sort of activity!

1.  Do a food journal to make sure that your daily calories are divided into 6 meals.

2. Give up the Iced Mocha from McDonald.

3.  Working 2 jobs you might not believe that you have time for exercise, but find a spot to get in at least 30 minutes a day for 5 days.  it really don't have to be 30 minutes straight, break it up in to 10 minutes slots if you have to.

4.  How is your water intake?  Up it if need to
