Hey there, BAF...

I am stopping by to say hello to everyone...haven't been on much, but enough to know that there are some of us who are experiencing the loss of loved ones.  My condolences to Ericka a/k/a Baby Phat, in the loss of her beloved sister. 

For those who have had surgery - congratulations to you on beginning your 'new life' with this tool...keep doing what your doctor and nutritionist tell you to do - and you will be a SUCCESS! 

For those of us who are going 'back to basics' - hang in there! It's been a rough ride for me...as I have been home for a while...and have regained a few of the pounds I lost a month ago...why? Because I am not consistent with my eating and protein...As of today, I'm back on the wagon.

#1 MM - girl...you are truly a trooper! I don't know how you do it, but I know that you will come out this time with great success - hang in there, love.

Lavender - if you are on here - I am thinking of and praying for you...trust!

Chicago BAF crew - I am so looking forward to seeing you all again on the 20th...the countdown has begun!

Double_AYY - Thanks for the laughs - I have had a great time reading your posts and notes on your page - you need to be on someone's stage for real.

Doug - What's up bro? Don't forget to let me know when you and your wife are planning to head this way...or, are you chickening out? Hmmm...LOL!

Me...well, I started back to work last Tuesday; although, I am only supposed to work 4-6 hours per day - that has not been the case.  I have been working very hard as we installed our new pastor yesterday.  He is Rev. Otis Moss III - it was a wonderful installation and I am sooo grateful that it's over!  I worked 16 hours yesterday...and stayed in bed all day today!

Finally, I am asking that you keep my good buddy Carole Carter lifted in prayers...if you will recall, I talked about her battle with breast cancer a few months ago.  Carole's cancer is not responding to the chemo and she has informed me that she is preparing to enter hospice.  I ask that you pray for her every day...please.

So good to see your lovely face. I was wondering what happened to you. Glad all is going well for you.  I know that adjusting to returning to work can be rough....just make sure you do get enough rest so that it does not catch up with you.  I echo many of your sentiments for all those coping with life issues right now. I would definitely appreciate a friend request on Facebook. I'll send you my info. I am slowing down a little on there...do not do my status updates as much as I used to do them....but there are a few applications that have my undivided attention...Mafia Wars and Sorority Life to name two.  Yeah....I take down a few thugs and then will play dress up afterwards. LOL! They are good stress relievers for me. Well...take it easy.. I am getting ready to turn in myself.  Peace to you.

Why thank you, Adrienne! Yes, I am proud of Daniel - his event is 2 weeks from today - and I am looking forward to it!

Thanks for the congrats re Pastor Moss - we all continue to bless God for our "Joshua" - he cannot fill Rev. Wright's shoes - but he can make prints in the sand of his own.

Hey DD!!!!  Yea - I am a SOLDIER!!!  But I tell you what..... I am SO DONE with plastics!!!!!  This last round was a doozy - I got what I wanted, it's time to move on.

Glad to hear you are taking care of yourself - make sure you don't rush your fast tail back to the streets too soon and end up messin things up

Girl...when I finally realized that it will take almost a year for my ankle to completely heal, I was DONE! No fancy shoes for me this year...but baby...WAIT TIL NEXT YEAR!!!
