Sunday Dinner Shout out - Mack Mama

Good Morning BAF Fam!
I hope you guys don't mind me posting the sunday dinner shout out for Trina aka Mack Mama - since she is recuperating I though I would post it if that is okay .  Trina - hope you are recovering well and we miss and love you here on BAF.  Well today I am actually not cooking for a change at least not dinner because I am going to my youngest brothers hs graduation today.  I am however, cooking breakfast and that would consist of scrambled eggs, sausage links, grits, and strawberry muffins.  One of my other youngest brothers is joining me and babygirl for breakfast so I'm doing it kinda big for breakfast.  So what are you all having for breakast/lunch/dinner??  Hope everyone enjoys there Sunday.

No need to state the obvious -  I AM NOT COOKING!!!! lol - I am just today able to move around without thinking I will fall apart and I am not calling Jesus every two steps (I was wearing him out) - I think he changed the number to the main line to keep from hearing from me!  LMAO (just kidding)

They said the first three days would be the hardest and THEY AIN'T LIE a BIT!!!  OMG - I swear that I really questioned why da HEYL couldn't I be happy with my fat rolls and girdles all Friday night - but I am able to go all during the day on just Tylenol and Advil - Vico-DAN will be my nighttime lover....

And I don't know if you have On Demand cable - but if you do - check out the HBO series 'True Blood' - I just started watching it and I am HOOKED!!!!  It's about vampires in modern day - VERY good series.....

And to the REST of yall - get to describing your dinners, dammit!!!  I can't cook, don't really feel like eating but I would LOVE to read some good FOOD PORN...... don't forget to tell me the herbs and spices!!!!  LMAOOOOO

I saw that - but I am so lazy I prefer to watch the series now that it's in my head.  I'd read Hannibal before the movie - I was SO dissapointed.  Same with Interview with a Vampire - the second season starts 6/14 - I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!  lol

oh I know there is nothinng worse than being disappointed by a movie thats based on a good book, but these are hilarious!  I'm on like book 8 in the series and I'm just now catching up on season 1-you won't be disappointed.

You are so welcome, i was kinda nervous posting this cause everyone is used to you doing it - so my fingers was shaking as I was typing, thinking lawd please let somebody, anybody respond lol lol.  It is so much fun when you do it and I could never ever replace you that's for sure.  It sounds like you are in pain but managing pretty good! I wish I did have on demand cable, i only have basic cable which is all i can afford right now.  I just got home from my brothers graduation and then we all went to Golden Coral afterwards and I am now sitting here thinking how much I don't like going to buffets anymore my stomach feels like lol lol.  I didn't eat that much, just made the mistake of eating one of their dinner rolls and now I feel like i have bricks in my stomach.  Anyways i'm about to start on my weekly laundry and watch tv the rest of the evening.  Enjoy the rest of your day and take it easy sweetie.

Good Morning, Hey Mack Mama glad you are felling better today. I think you bring to life the terms No pain, No gain.  I am hanging on to your progress as this will be our next step. As for dinner, yesterday Wal-mart marked those rotisserie chickens down to 3.00 and I bought 4 of them. I used one yesterday to make chicken salad. Today we will have chicken Alfredo with veggies added.

I am having my last time in carb heaven today (or at least for the next two weeks anyway).  Here Sunday dinner plan for today:

smothered boneless chuck steak
rice with gravy
pan fried  whole kernel corn
speckled butter beans
candid yams
cornbread

Lord forgive me now because I will overeat, Amen.

Trina, if you lived close by I would bring you a plate because I know you are recovering.  Get plenty of rest.
