Update on pain in side and fever and question about crackers and juice
So I went to the doctore first thing this morning. He checked me out throughly and was really concerned about my pain...even moreso than the fever. Drew my blood and sent me to get a CAT scan. Everything came back clean but now he is beginning to think it could be an early sign of gallbladder problems (if pain doesn't subside my tuesday he is ordering an ultrasound for my gallbladder).
Now my question....
How early out was everyone when they started to eat crackers. I haven't eaten anything since yesturday around 2 cause of pain and nothing soft I try to eat will cross the threshold of my throat. The nurse needs me to eat because she its best for me and she ordered me to take a half a percaset for pain. They also took the hold off my diet and and since nothing soft will stay down she said to try 2 or 3 crackers. How does everyone tolerate them and whats the best way to get them down without them getting stuck? Even though I am okayed, I am still nervous.
I have also been given the okay to drink no sugar added fruit juice and cereal. What are the best kinds you guys tolerate?

Crackers are off limits for me, but I'd take tiny bites and chew till it melts away before swallowing.
I just wanted to say I'm glad you saw the doctor. Hope you feel better soon.

I hope you feel better. I would suck the crackers till they are soft then chew and swallow. As for the juice, be sure to dilute it with water. Even when it says 'no sugar added' it still may be too sweet for you.
