Hey Family,

I'm thinking about relocating but where is still to be determined.  The Atlanta metro area is high on my list because it seems to have a little within my paltry price range.  But where is the question.

I'd like ideas on areas where I can find a safe, nicely maintained neighborhood for around $150.  Within Atlanta and easy access to the metro or in the suburbs.  All areas considered.  The only caveat is easy access to the airport by car or even better, public transit.  Single family home preferred but I'm open to all options.

I'm totally ignorant of anything other than the airport and I-75. I've been told to check out Atlanta's West End and Cascade Heights, Jonesboro, College Park, East Point, Decatur and Riverdale.  I'd kill for anything near a Trader Joes or a golf course if by some miracle there is something affordable.

Any opinions??? Thanks Fam!

Honestly, right now you can get a nice home just about anywhere in that range due to the forclosures and generally crappy housing market.  All of the areas you named will get you easy access to the airport and golf but not a Trader Joe's.  If you decide Atlanta is for you, I have several good agents I can put you in contact with.  Good luck.

Thanks.  I'll definetly be in touch.  I plan my first exporation into ATL in June.  Once my home is on the market, I'll be needing an agent.
