A Different Hair Question.......
Okay,
I've read 2 post today about hair lost, and I did alot of research before my surgery so I know that there is a posiblity that it will happen.
My question is how does it fall out? Does it just thin out? Does it fall out in large patches at a time? Does it only fall out around the hairlines.
I'm still early out and I want to know what to expect.
Thanks!

Mine just thinned out really bad. The length pretty much remained the same. It wasnt like chunks of hair in the sink or in the brush or comb. It just thinned out gradually but very noticeably. Well I noticed but depending on how you style it others dont really notice it. There were no bald spots or anything. My thinning began at about 4 months and last until I was about 1 year out. I have been wearing braids for the past year but it is getting back thick again. Since I have been wearing braids, I cut all the relaxer out of my hair, so its a wooly mess of hair when I take those braids down but I am considering a natural style when I get tired of the braids.
Nothing tastes as good as being thin feels!
Yeah that's what I'm thinking too.... lay off the perms. Like a dummy I had one 2 weeks post op. No thinning or breakage yet, but you never know what damage that may have caused. I wore alot of quick weaves before, even tho my hair is a nice length. I'm thinking of getting a sew in, but I want to just wear wraps so that I can monitor the breakage.
Damn, if my hair goes I'm screwed. My hair is naturally as thin as yours is after the hair loss.
