GATEWAY TO 8K, WEEK 6, RUN 2, RUN DONE. COUCH TO 5K'er's

I am just loving all the motivation!

The story was great! I do need music to keep my mind off the time. My mind is always on overdrive (not sure if it too much coffee or ADD), so I think about MILLIONS of things as I am jogging that helps me not think about the time.

I have noticed that when I think about doing more or pushing farther in my exercise, I am quick to say, I cannot do that, but when I am jogging, something kicks in and says' you can do it' and then it's done! It's like I suddenly got all this confidence and will not be beat! Like my 25 min jog on Mon when I worried about the 20 min jog coming tomorrow for couch25k week 5 day 3.

To think about it is sabotage for me, I just have to do it and prove it to myself. Looking forward to completing week 5 tomorrow. The scale has finally budged and I lost 7 lbs last week. Onto the next 7!
