GATEWAY TO 8K, WEEK 6 HAS BEGUN, I'M BORED OF RUNNING, COUCH TO 5Ker's

I think i'll try to come up with some new music. I really like that new Ciara and Justin Timberlake song so that will for sure be one of them.
I'm just having a bored day I think not being in school and being on vacation doesn't help. But i'm enjoying my vacation big time.
If I come up with a good play list i'll share it but don't expect it cause i'm not good with itunes.
When you were doing p90x I was so awe by your persistence and jealous as well because, you had a goal in mind to fit into a certain pair of jeans as I recall. I thought weight is not an issue for me, I want to have the complete package of health but, I could not commit so I put off my ps this summer until I get fit! my goal is to run at least 3-5, 5k's after I complete this program, my ps will be my reward.
I know you are blue today,tomorrow you will do what you have committed yourself to that is something I have to work on with my fitness, you show me and others on this forum that we can commit to a healthier lifestyle not only nutritionally but the whole fitness as well you are a example of that and you encourage me every day(THANK YOU) I say to you keep on running you will catch the,"running bug again" and victory is only 3 weeks away.

I haven't seen you in a while but i'm happy to know you have been reading my threads and it has motivated you to run. That is really really great. You will be very happy with the results running gives you.
Sorry I had to get you moving on such a bummer day but i'm cool just not 100% myself today with the running. But I can assure you I will not stop running because everyday I get back line and board messages thanking me and it keeps me going.
I think PS as a reward for finishing C25K is a great motivator. That is so cool. Mine is my trip to Egypt and yours in a flat belly. Actually i'm thinking I will get my belly done soon because since I started running my belly has gotten really loose like it never was before. So the running really does help a lot.
I am here to encourage you as much as I can, just ignore my post today i'll be back to myself tomorrow and by Wed, my next post I should be sufficiently motivated again.
Great to hear from you Maryama, it's been quite a while.
Oh btw have a flat stomach( it's every thing else that needs to be lifted and inflated )

You have been a great inspiration to me. i know I have said it before but I wanted to say it again and to let you know how grateful I am to you for getting me up from the couch. In January '09, I printed out the c25k running program and told myself i would start. A month went by and I didnt lift a foot until I started reading your posts (good, bad, ugly) about running and it got me going. I enjoyed reading your HONEST opinion/thoughts of doing the program so when I reached a particular week I realized that I was not alone, you had already been through it and we shared some of the same thoughts and feelings.
I HATE to excercise. I especially hate walking. Walking as excercise is so boring to me. So I understand what you mean when you say you are getting bored. I was getting really bored with the walking parts of the program, even the walking 2-3 minutes in between the jogs. I am so glad that I can run the full 3 miles now. What keeps me going with the joggin is that this is something I have always wanted to be able to do and becuase of you and my commitment to myself, I am doing it.
When you return from your trip there may be some other form of excercise that you get into. Whatever it is just keep moving and keep fitness a part of you life.
Nothing tastes as good as being thin feels!

The difference between you and me is that I never wanted to be a runner, I just wanted to prove to myself that I could train my body to run a 8K and I do that every day twice a day and there in lies the bordem.
I am glad my post helped get you moving and I hope you continue to move and run forest run......
I will finish the program and I will continue to encourage you whatever way I can by doing whatever it is I decide to do next.
