Reality shows are cheap that's why there are so many on TV now.  For most shows they don't have to build a set... all they need is some crazy people to let us into their lives, a camera and production crew.  It's cheap entertainment for the networks.  You basically get your money's worth with reality.  Now with scripted shows... how many times have we said "where did they find this fool?"  "He/she can't act all.  Who is he/she sleeping with to get a part?"  They are expensive and the quality is always iffy if you don't have the right actors, production crew and budget. 

Now on the Jon and Kate thing.... I used to watch it because I was curious to see how they could handle that many little kids when I'm pulling out my hair with two.  I stopped watching it when I saw how Kate treated Jon.  There is no way I could stomach her humiliating him week after week.  I told my husband it was just a matter of time before Jon hit the road because no man is going to put up with that kind of crap forever.

i used to watch it often too cuz it's my daughter's favorite show, but we don't catch it as much anymore.  when we did i can't say that i even noticed her tone with him because i was too busy giving her credit for keeping her sanity, organization and making sure all those kids have something fun to do every day.   i think they could have spoken to each other with more nice in their voices but hey man, i don't have 8 kids.   she did a couple interviews saying how she feels about being *blamed* for his possible infidelity and the fact that women, especially women would pointing the finger at her, she says it's sad and difficult and about the blame, he's a big boy, noobdy else is responsible for his actions and for anyone to try to pin it on her is funky.  ITA.  if anything it makes me like her more b/c she ain't foldin up.  fugg a dude who ain't tryna play his position when she's never considered walking away from her children an option. 

I'm conflicted by this because while I don't think a woman should have deal with a cheating husband or vice versa; but I really don't feel by airing their dirty laundry on TV will somehow help them to repair their relationship. 

And what makes John & Kate so special - the fact that they have 8 children?  No.  Having a big family ain't new.  There are women who raised children on farms that gave birth to 12 kids over a span of like 10 years.  Sure her vagina was about as tight as a Hagen Daaz ice cream box by the time she had her last one and she would have to change her drawers everytime she laughed hard but the fact still remains that it was not TV worthy.

I lived in MD for about 7 years and went to church right there in B'more down the street from Bentalou (pronounced Bent-Low.  LOL) It was there that I've seen just about every type of gold tooth, gold front, and gold cap, that there is to put on a gott-dayum tooth. 

I've often wondered about that though.  What is it about a tooth that would make a B'more nicca wanna frame it in gold so that everytime they smiled it shined like the sun on Sunday morning?!  I mean it's a toophus for chrissakes.  DC folks talk about y'all B'more folks really bad all the time for that mess.

She was horrible to him absolutely. The way she talked to him like he was the 9th child. I am not saying its right that he allegedly cheated on her but man I gotta say I can understand. Thats a lot of pressure for the man. I mean I understand you gotta a lot of kids but man I know some people got just as many with no husband to help so excuse me if I have no sympathy for you. LOL. I think in this situation it is a two way street. And for her to be on camera yesterday crying and carrying on acting like she held no responsibility in her problamatic marriage made me dislike her that much more.

I like John & Kate Plus 8.  I think Kate is a complete ***** and completely dominated her husband out of her marriage but I don't think he should have cheated either.

The great thing about TV now a days Ayy is that we have so many dam channels not like when I was a kid and we only had 5, but we have hundreds of channels now and if there is a show I don't like I got another couple hundred to choose from.  Click, Click, Click
