Suggestions please.
I little over a year out and I am not at my personal goal. Matter of fact I am about 35 lbs away from goal. The problem is I am content were I am. I like the way that I look, i feel good, no diabetes, no high blood pressure and no cholesterol problems. I know that i need to loose more than what I want to allow for any i may gain but Im telling I cant mentally get my mind right.
The other problem is there isn't anything I cant eat...... I have tested the water and nothing makes me really dump. I need to do something to get back on track with what I am eating.
What are you eating on a daily basis????
How do you me mentally stay focused????

YOU are content where you are....
YOU like the way you look....
Cle sure as hell is lovin it....
Sounds like the two most important people in this are happy and content. With that said, concentrate on maintenance and don't fret over the goal. You know your limitations and even though you don't dump anymore, you have obviously made those lifestyle changes. Stick to that and things will be fine.
Also, knowing how easy it is to have the pounds sneak back up on you, keep a close watch on the scale. At least weigh in weekly to ensure you are staying within your limits.

I think you made your own point. Getting on the scale and being accountable will continue to help you through the journey.
I keep telling myself, shoot for the stars. I think having a goal gives us something to work for but it should not be looked at as a must. My doc's goal is for me to lose about 200 lbs. NOT going to happen if I can help it. My personal goal is to lose 150 lbs and I hope to at least get close but I will be content if I don't. If at a year out, I have toned up these healthy thighs & butt, I will be as happy as can be with accomplishing 100+ lbs gone & no meds.
As you are, I will continually focus on where I am (maybe not everyday) but I want it to be at the forefront of my mind so that I don't gain an astronomical amount back. WLS has been an awesome tool for us and as long as we continue to use it for our benefit, we will be fine.

I know im still new here but ...my dr. has me on a low fat diet for a yr after surgery. So go on a low fat, SF diet......cut out red meat, pasta, rice, and bread...drink your 64 oz. of water start there. I think I will forever be on a diet....I have my mind wrap around that way of thinking. good luck
