The ball is rollin'
So yesterday I had my surgery orientation, a crash course on everything under the sun about WLS and how my hospital’s program works.
My surgery consult with my Dr. isn’t until July 15th but no worries here I have things to do in the mean time!
May 27th Lab, ekg, Chest x-ray
June 9th I have my psych evaluation. They don’t have to confirm I already know Im crazy
June 24th I have my exercise evaluation; you can just look at me and see that I’m out of shape even though I’m cute
June 26th Ob/gyn appt. She’s be campaigning for me to have this surgery since after I had my son. I have a feeling she is going to want to put me on bc’s so I don’t mess around and get knocked up before hand.
I’m really on my way and I just can’t freakin believe it!!!

I've got ALL my stuff scheduled (except sleep apnea test, but that's b/c the African booty scratcher doc - and he is an ABS, is waiting for them to get their own clinic set up instead of losing out on $$$. Hmm.. like that fool got mad my PCP didn't send me to them for weight loss, like he claims I have asthma - ain't NEVER heard that in all my life, and that I have a closed throat, so I have sleep apnea.... yeah son, I'm not trying to feed your village back home... ok, that was crass, but shyot, it's true... Fat in the States ain't like Africa fat - over there, it means you're rich. In the US, it means you're just fat).
When r u hoping to have it (the surgery) done?

that this is my last pleasantly plump summer!! I'm hoping end of August to sometime in Sept.
Lose weight? I am, but it's not required. He just doesn't want you to gain. Asked what if I lose too much (on Adipex to get pressure off joints now- I know, but hey, starting to feel way better w/ 10lbs off)? He asid they submit what the initial consult weight is.
I know. I haven't had a normal size summer since 1994. (and that was a 12/14.)
