About 2 1/2 months out I was with friends and I just held a shot of vodka on ice to avoid explaining why I was not drinking. I put it to my lips 4-5 times and pretended to sip. I was seriously buzzed just from the contact without swallowing any. I got buzzed from a tiny sip of communion wine also.
I was warned to wait a year by my doc. My daughter whose is a year out still gets buzzed on one drink. Another OH friend told me to drink a lot of water with any alcohol. That's how I was able to drive home after church. A pint of water for a sip of communion wine.
I love wines and having my hard liquor too. Hell there's not much I won't drink, but you bet I'll be waiting a year. Now I order bottled water when I go out.

I had white wine when I went out last week....
I just sipped it tho and didn't even finish half the cup. I love wine but never drink it when I go out. It didn't do anything to me, I thought that I would past out any minute. Usually when I go out I just order a cranberry and water and sip it like its alcohol....that's what I will do from now on, until I'm ready for the strong stuff.
I don't just have issues, I have subscriptions! I'm saving on the newsstand price.......
