Why????????

I woke up this morning filled with happiness!!!!! I don't care what the negative folk have to say about BAF, I am one to tell you that there is no other like this right here. BAF comes through in times of trouble, comedy and sacrifice. How can I say that? BECAUSE it has been shown to me, I have been a part of it. I have been crying tears of joy this morning for several reasons. Today I woke up without any real pain and I had a desire to eat (that hasn't happened since surgery on the 28th of April). Second, today is my baby's 2nd birthday and by all accounts I am still supposed to be in the hospital. When I told my DR that today would be Promise's birthday they told me that because of the state that I was in that they didn't see me being home yet. See last year, I lost my aunt, my mom's best friend to cancer. We couldn't do a birthday celebration for my baby because our hearts were so heavy with grief. I can honestly say that I am looking forward to what today will bring. The family will get together this evening for icecream and cake.

I know this may sound a bit random but it feels good to know that you are thought about.

Last but not least....the thing that really brought me to tears was an email that I received from a friend (not a word that I use often) this morning. It simply was a few lines to wish Promise a happy birthday and to let her know that she was being prayed for/covered by one that I know believes like I do. This friend I met on BAF and I have only seen her once in person for a very few minutes. She never ceases to amaze me with her timing. She comes through like a gentle wind but leaves sound footprints. It's the things like this that makes me continue to support people on BAF.

If I never have to chance to type these words again...................

BAF....I luv Y'all to pieces!!!!!!!!
