I'm giving myself a B-, C+

I'm 9 weeks out and I was just reflecting on how I'm doing with the new lifestyle...i eat the right stuff,  I take my vitamins - though occasionally I'll forget the midday calcium [the mineral],  I get anywhere between 55 - 70 or so grams of protein per day, I don't drink near enough liquids most days,  [though my doc pinched my hand and told me I wasn't dehydrated] I didn't give up my coffee, and I don't exercise near enough.  I attend support groups and my scheduled post-op visits to date.  I'm commiting myself to improving my grade...I can do better most especially on the liquids and exercise front.  I'm curious- how would you grade yourself?

About 2 weeks ago I would have given myself a B+ (I was not drinking enough fluid because I could not and I did not exercise)...As of today I would give myself a A-...I am drinking at least 50 ounces of water (up from 20), I am eating right, weighing once or twice per week (down from everyday) and I exercise at least 3 times per week(up from no exercise)...There is always room for improvement but right now I feel like I am giving it my all.

Yea I'd have to give myself a B. Exercise is on poin****er, vitamins, protiens, all good. Now them dayum sneaky carbs! And I said I wasn't going to drink anymore till goal and I did when I went out. I only drink when I go out so I might have to take a break from running the streets till I can get my willpower back together.

Shooting for a A!

I'm giving myself a big ole flabby "C". I was sick with the flu and I haven't committed myself to eating as much as I should. My appetite is gone but I'm going to do better.

I give me an A- pretty much from the start because the effort was always there even when the pouch wouldn't cooperate.  I loose points for not using my support system from the beginning.

I had the exercise down since my teens so no points allotted there.  I do need more variety and I'm working on that.

As for nutrition, I'm technically a cheater because I modified my diet for Ms Grouchy Pouchy to learn to behave herself.  No penalty assessed because now I get enough calories, up from 450 to 900 a day and all my water up from 48 oz to 100oz + daily.  In the last few days I can finally eat somewhere close to normal (3 meals, 2 snacks, 1 protein supplement).  I've always managed the protein goal and the vitamins pretty well.
