Quick food tips/recipes
Hello Everyone, I have such a busy schedule that I do not have the time to cook. So if you have any 5 ingredient or less high protein recipes or fast food tips to share....I would so appreciate it! I am 7-weeks out and can eat pork, beef, chicken with no problems. I also own a magic bullet food processor, so whipping up something wouldn't be a problem. I just need the ideas. My challenges:-Eggs are difficult for me.- I do not care for overly sweet flavors. Even if it is made with splenda.-of course, no bread, pasta, rice or anything made with white flour-have not tried any veggies except for green beans and carrots, so I dont know if I can handle leafy ones yet.But feel free to list all of your tips/recipes because others may be able to use them even if I can't.My Tips:Golden Corral- I get a chunk of pork roast along with green beans in a take out container. Sometimes I will get the beef pot roast instead. My meal usually costs less than $2. Taco bell- you may get strange looks the first time you do this but, I have them to put the meat and cheese from two tacos in a bowl for me. A couple of servings for less than $2I think everyone already knows about the pinto and cheese from Taco Bell, but thought I would mention it.El Pollo Loco-Unless you have someone to share this with, it may be a waste of money and food. I order the Pollo Asada and just eat the chicken. It has a really nice flavor.Fridays- Ordered the BBQ Bacon wrapped shrimp for only $5.99I asked for the dish without the BBQ sauce and I took off the bacon, ate about three and they were still flavorful.Lunchables- A small turkey and cheese lunchable is good when I am in a hurry. I only eat one or two crackers and cheese squares (the cheese is sweet to me), but I mostly concentrate on the meat.
Quick recipes-Ricotta Cheese, pizza sauce, mozzarella & cheddar cheese, italian seasonings. Microwave and enjoy.Tuna, green beans (or whatever beans you like), low fat mayo and italian dressing. Mix and eat.Thanks.

Hi Diglove!
How are you? Well...I must admit...that I don't have any real fantastic recipes to share. I am a keep it simple gurl too. So I just modify old recipes from the past and substitute or take out the fattening or sugary ingredients. I can tell you that Cookie Luscious and Mack Mama have posted some good recipes on here. Here is one for Turkey Tacos that worked well for me....very good. Use the link to get to the recipe and then look at Cookies recent posts for more recipes. She posts these periodically. I wish you well on your journey. Take care. Lisa
