Unfortunately, I can't be there.  Because the next week is the 4th of July and I will be going to N'Orleans and my $$$ just don't stretch that far LOL.  If this wasn't so close to Essence I'd be there.  Hopefully you all will have another because I'd love to come to NYC.  But you all have a wonderful time and take lots of pictures!!!

Oh I would so love to be there as I told Dalexis before. Unfortunately my house is supposed to be finished around that time and I'm set to close the last week in June so my money will be going towards that. I will definitely be looking for future invites in the area though.

Mike my dude for life you as well as a "FEW" others are the only people that could get me actually participating in anything on this board cause I wasn't even in "LURK MODE" I was in I am done with BAF mode. It's very unfortunate, BUT true. As a man I can accept some of the responsibility of the BS cause that's what a REAL MAN does ya know? I have had a lot of BEEFS, and I am happy to say that 97% of them have been squashed cause life is too short, and I happen to be a person once you really get to know me whose intentions are good. Mike I love ya like a real brother cause you have always been genuine, and cool, and very cordial, and I have ALWAYS respected that about you. With that being said I am gonna do everything in my power to make this NY MEET N GREET. I miss the meet n greets that people looked forward to coming to, and now it's all overshadowed by you guessed it the DRAMA, THE HEARSAY, THE LIES, GOSSIP, JEALOUSY, ETC.....I love everybody on BAF for real, but to be honest the respect for some have been lost, but I am sure won't be forever after the wounds have COMPLETELY healed. I this post was very well said in EVERY WAY Mike, and I appreciate ya cause it was LONG OVERDUE. I wish all of my BAF family well, and I want you to know that you are in my prayers, and my thoughts each, and EVERYDAY. Continued success on your weightloss jounrneys, and God Bless.

I want to thank you for this message. I can tell it was very heartfelt. I am going to be honest that I am ashamed of the little drama that I have found myself a part of on this board.  Its very easy to be a part of drama on this board...because it somewhat feels like you are incognito....but for real...we are all real people and what we do on this board will follow us to a certain degree....especially when we actually meet one another. I hate the fact that I have created any false impression in anyones mind.  I am as easy to get along with as they come. I initially had plans to make the meet and greet...but had actually second guessed myself and decided to not attend. I had even decided to go into lurk mode on BAF (I still plan to do this) so I would not feed into or unintentionally start any drama. DRAMA is a big waste of time and most of us know this ...for real.  I was happy to see your message and now look forward to meeting some wonderful people in NYC....as I am sure there are many.  I am coming to NYC to be a part of the celebration AND not a part of any drama.  I will walk away...leave...before I let myself SNAP like that....why should a few spoil the celebration for the rest.  I hope all that come...come with a good time on their mind. Thank you for this message again...I personally  appreciate you for taking the time to write it.
