watermelon
I am two weeks out and I wanted to know if it is too soon to eat this. I am allowed to eat peaches, pears, and bananas and I've looked it up and watermelon has less sugar in it then 2 out of 3 of those..bananas the highest and I tolerate it just fine.

I would give a quick call to my surgeon...When I have a question about what I should or should not eat I call them and get a quick response...I LOVE watermelon... I eat it at least 3 times per week...It is my treat to myself (and pickles- maybe twice per week)

If your surgeon gives you the thumbs up then go for it

Watermelon may not be the best choice for someone so new out. You still have a lot of swelling
at the pouch area so I would be concerned about those fiberous little strings in watermelon that
might get stuck in the stoma or pouch itself. I didn't ea****ermelon or anything stringy that early
out. Just a thought but of course the best source of info would be your surgeon or nut.
