question about birth control
I have heard that by itself the pill is no longer a suitable form of birth control in preventing pregnancy. However I am asking if there is anyone out there that has used it as a SOL means of birth control and didn't get pregnant. Thanks!
BTW I cannot do the mirena IUD. My insurance will not pay for it and between vits and food I am tapped out on cash to pay for it out of pocket. Also, just the thought process of how they get that thing in and out scares me and I do not have the pain tolerance level to take it (I still cry like a baby getting my blood drawn).

Early post op, my doc advised against BC pills. Once I got into my second year, she put me on Loestrin Fe and I was fine with no incidence. I suffered from really long, heavy periods, It also lightened and shortened my cycle.
Once my baby is born, I plan to go back to that.
Sidenote: I was not on BC at the time of conception, so the pills didn't fail me, lol.

During the first couple of years using the pill only is not recommended due to the instability of our bodies/hormones, absorption issues...etc. I skipped the condom once at nearly my 12th month PostOp mark thinking I'm on the pill surely one time won't hurt....I was having fun...lol. Well I was pregnant at my 12th month checkup.
