For those that are on Facebook

Most of my friends and family don't know about my wls so I don't discuss it on FB. I have been guilty of mentioning BAF there. That is just because I am trying to help organize the Chicago Mini M&G and alot of our local members seem to be more active on FB then here and I don't want them to miss it.

If anyone wants to add me on FB I am Amanda Price.

I am that chick that just doesn't care. *I* choose to speak about my weight loss and how I am feeling on FB. *I* am open with my decision and *I* do not really care who knows about it.  Now that being said. I never mention wls when it comes to any of my BAF friends on FB. Just cause I am open doesn't mean everyone is. And everyone is entitled to make up their own mind about who they tell and how. Its not my business or my place to out anyone. If they post pictures I keep it simple by telling them how good they look. Period.  

Nah...I keep that seperate! There is someone that is a friend here and she tried to holla at me on FB asking me all up on my wall how everything was going and she wanted an update....I kindly told her that she was on the wrong site for that and to get off my wall with that...I dont play that...for me....thats my personal business and what happens on OH...stays on OH!

Real talk...I'm not ashamed of WLS...but its no body's business...especially old high school, college friends and family....mine and everybody elses! Once you post something everybody and their friends who you are not even friends with can see what you wrote...

I say keep them seperate...people here understand the journey cuz they have been through it...

I don't think I'd care when my time has passes.  Now?  Hell no. Only b/c I don't feel like hearing billchit - why, have you tried (bytch, I did Slimfast, Xenical, Metabolife, WW, Adkins, etc).

After?  don't care... I think... lol. Time will tell.  Right now - too much fam on FB. Only moy mom, sis, 1 trustworthy cousin and some co-workers know.  I can't even tell ANY of my buddies - told a guy friend and he flipped (but he likes big girls, but I don't like being big, so there!!!)

My cuz who is on facebook,  told me she didn't want me to have it because I would have  stinky gas...WTF??? Tell me something serious not about no darn gas. Since when did gas smell good

I told my guy friend he was pretty cool about it but he says he's been waiting on me since middle school so he can get it where he fits it...ya feel me!!!!

I can't claim it... it was a typo. was supposed to be bullchit, lol.

Gas: when I was explaining to my mom the different types, pros/cons, etc... D/S came up.  Told her I was interested, but that few docs do in ATL (and i'm not driving), and some other things (do NOT come down on me DSers - personal choice- RNY it is for other reasons too.

So I told my mom about the gas and poo from Ds.. she paused on the phone (and I knew it was coming, so I had to gird my loins).  She Just said "can it get any worse?"  She said if so and I have that particular surgery, I'm banded from coming b/c they already like to die of suffocation.  I honestly swear my lil sis gives me gas - I get it really bad around her!!! That's my story and I'm sticking to it.


I still think my gas smells like berries.

No I dont cause only a few friends and family know that I have had wls.  I have noticed some people post about baf/wls and I pray  that no one on my friends list puts  2 and 2 together and try and put me on blast

I don't discuss it there because I discuss it here. I need somewhere to just be me and that's what facebook is for. I know that those people are thinking "How did Rita lose all that weight because the last time I saw her she was huge !!!!" but that's for them to speculate. There are some people that know and they haven't brought it up and I'm grateful for it. One friend did ask me with the chat feature how did I lose weight and I told her because we went to college together and taught school together and she is very overweight and I felt it could help her. If someone asks, I would answer them privately if I felt close enough to them.

Right because regardless  if we are big or small someone is always going to have something to say.

Im just going to stay where I know im loved!!!!

I don't have anything about my WLS on Facebook - as vocal as I am about it and not shy here - you mofos ain't got my gubment name neither.... LOL 

I might change it but for now - it's not there.
