GATEWAY TO 8K, WEEK 4 COMPLETE, "RUNNING" OUT OF TIME

Monring Yall

Well I did my run this morning later than I normally like to run but that is what happens when I stay up to late.  I am glad this weeks running is over because I am tired.

The 5 weeks I had before I leave for my trip is now 4 weeks because we added a week in NY and we will be leaving from there and not from Cali.  So that leaves me with 4 weeks yall,  i'm not feeling to hopeful right now but I will keep running twice a day.

I was going to try that flat belly diet but decided not to after all, I just don't want to be bothred.  I will just keep eating clean and running.

Relax Lee...all that stress will just release more cortisol and we all know what happens then...lol!  I will start the 8k training on Saturday.  Because my brain is shot and I have no idea what I did with the link will you post it just one more time for me.  School and work have been all kinds of crazy.  THANK YOU!  See ya on the running trail!

Hey April

I know i'm trying not to stress over it because it's ok if I don't make my goal by the time I leave just as long as I make it. 

I have to write another paper and have 2 more finals and i'm finished thank you Jesus.

Staying up late? Sounds like you gotta little night owl in you like me!

Glad you made it through your run! Great you get to tack on an extra week to your vacation. Not sure what your goal is before leaving for your trip, so stay focused on what you want to accomplish and relish in the things you have achieved so far. IN a previous post you mentioned a gym or workout facility being available on your trip so I know you plan to keep the momentum going. You can still aim to complete your goal while you are gone.

At least your target is being moved cause you are doing something great like starting  your trip early versus you being off target because the you overindulged in some fried food fantasy!

I completed week 3 day 3 couch 25K this morning. I will not say it has been easy since the couch and I were in love  but as I ran this morning I felt I could push myself harder. I think I did these past 3 weeks with as much umph as I could to get up at 5am and complete it, but not with enough 'above and beyond' effort like I do other things in my life. Soooooo, come next week, the extra effort award will go to ???? we'll see...

Keep up the great work on the 8k program and stay focused!

Hey Fionna

I'm such a early bird.  When I say stay up late I mean 11:00pm.   I go to bed pretty early but lately I have just been wanting to stay up.

Yeah I added a extra week in NY to the beginning of my vacation and a extra week at the end in Vegas.  I am going to be exhausted.

Chill Lee you are sooooo hard on yourself I am sure you are progressing nicely because you sure appear to be consistent!  How are those bathroom jeans fitting?

People always say i'm hard on myself but I think i'm more disciplined than hard and I hate given u*****t finishing something or making a goal.

Not only do I appear to be consistent,  I am consistent.   

My second pair of bathroom jeans fit nice as tight as hell.  LOL.   With only 1 month left I don't know if I will make it but i'm gonna keep trying.
