NAUSEA
My GERD makes me nauseated... no peppermints, huh? OK. Someone said crackers - yep! Keep them in your car, desk @ work.. I don't know about wheat or Ritz - I do plain ole saltines.
Also, Sprite or 7up. I don't do Ginger ale or seltzer water, but that too. I wish I knew the crap they gave me in Jamaica - bitter as hell (I know it was a bitter for mixers) nasty, but worked - ok, that was hang over, but still...
If you're at home, a baked potato - plain. I can't stand plain, but just a tad of margarine & salt - not much b/c teh fat from the margarine would counteract the tater.
I can't remember the nausea meds I was on, but Pepto Bismal tablets are the bomb! (chewables may work faster - even the liquid, but hate chewables and the liquid is so thick (can't drink thick stuff- as a kid, I had to gag to get it down).
HTH even a little bit...

My pcp put me on some meds for this and of course my surgeon ok'd them. These meds helped me tremendously. The meds that help me are Zofran and Protonix (1 is for nausea and the other is for reflux and ulcers). Ginger tea is very good also and I agree with whoever said to get your gallbladder checked out because that could be the culprit also. I hope you feel better and keep some of those plastic grocery store bags with you in the car at all times just in case.
