Why do people feel

Because you are trying to live right or do the best you can you are downing them? This puzzels me I know I should not care but since I love people I am always trying to be understanding. If you are doing well it does not make me feel any less than I am. So why do I offend people because I am blessed to say the least? I just do not get it. I guess people will just be people I am glad I am happy for others no matter what they have or don't have.

If I knew the answer to this HF I would be a millionaire... Some people just hate to see others doing better than them and the reality is somebody is going to always have a little more than you. Someone is going to have a better job, healthier relationship, better body, better car, bigger house, etc, etc, etc. That is why it is important to be happy with yourself so that when you see the person with the bigger house, rather than envy them you can congratulate them and strive for better yourself.

That another thing I do not understand is it is not that I have more or less than others it bothers them I am try to live right, play by the rules, follow God's Will,obey the law, etc what ever you want to call it

It's not you that offend folks, it's the anointing your presence brings that they can't handle. You are just being you and trying to live right but people that are not is annoyed by the presence of God. I always tell folks - I'm not judging you because I'm not God but yet they feel condemned when you're around. It's just the presence of God you have over your life.

I hope this makes sense or this is what how I see it. It helps me press pass what folks think.

I think it's that they are not satisfied/content with where THEY are and THEY are comparing themselves to others. 

Girl, since I began to get serious about getting healthy, some of my family won't even talk to me.  I'm doing the best I can for ME and MY family. I'm HAPPY for those who have it going on, no matter if they are bigger or smaller than me.  CONFIDENCE is something from within - can't buy it, just gotta HAVE it! 

Keep lovin & striving to be the person that GOD created YOU to be. 

What's that saying..."Don't hate, congratulate?!?!"  It shows you have MUCH more character than they.  Keep up the good work Highly Favored!

On a spiritual plane, I agree that the SPIRIT within can bring conviction to others. I'm from a long line of preachers, ministers, missionaries, first-ladies BUT soem of them "try" to beat others over the head with their beliefs. 

The Bible says to let your light shine among men - light can sunburn but it surely doesn't wack folks over the head.  Light can spread in an instant, light can shine in the darkest corners of hearts & minds.

Thank you for this.  I totally understand this alot of times all I want to talk about is God which is my belief but I do it in love.  I understand there is a time and place for everything.  I believe with me alot of people just feel uncomfortable doing their normal thang because they know i did not get down like that.  I have never mention it to them what I do or do not do but they see how I live.  The first thing they want to yell when we are in a conversation is you are judging me or looking down on me when I tell them I will not do or tolerate certain things.  I never tell another adult what to do I only explain how I get down.  The word speaks for itself :)

You could not have said it better.  Its alsways going to be haters out there.  I love Kat Wiliams rendition "I'm trying to get another hater by the end of the day".  You can't stop them, but you know you are blessed.  I keep it pushing and realize that it better to give some people their distance.  I had a so called friend tell me today that "you are going to start back smoking".  I was pissed and said "you have a nice day".  I do not need the negatively in my life.  will not tolerate it.
