Can I really put it into words.....

So where I plan to have my procedure we have to submit a written letter of intent to Pursue Bariatric Surgery.

Now my thought is can I really put it into words what this will do for my quality of life, I mean if they wanted my knees to write for me I’m pretty sure they have some weight to get off of them (pun intended)

I guess I’m thankful that they gave us a guideline of what they are looking for:
Reason for obtaining surgery Expectations for the outcome Our knowledge and understanding about the surgery procedure Understanding the post op lifestyle Your support system    So when you look back at your before is it everything you expected?????

Thanks God for creating, Jesus for saving, and the Holy Ghost for sustaining ME!

Today marks 2 weeks out for me and already I feel that this is the best decision I've made since selecting the college I attended.

I get up every morning and feel better.  My Feet, back, and knees are thanking me for doing this.  Plus my Sugar level is "normal" everyday. Sweet.

If you can't find the words, maybe you need a Ghost writer. I know someone who has a way with words

Has it been what I expected?  Yes and no.  I was prepared for the change in the lifestyle and I know that it is a process, learning to live with a new way of life.

No I was not ready for my complications that I encountered in December, they really sucked.

It has been a mixed bag but I wouldn't change my decision for anything in the world.  My blood pressure is normal for the first time in years and I no longer have to take the three medications I was on before to try and manage it but never did.  I was borderline diabetic and on metformin, now I am fine and don't need the medication.  My asthma is gone along with 90 lbs.  The only meds I take are my vitamins and I feel better.

It has definitely been worth it and I know that this new path is the right one for me.

I just read a post on the RNY board. the post was asking individuals that had good results with surgery.  There were some really great posts and good information. I think you'll get more verbage than you need.

Trying to figure out how to reverse this weight gain.
