Morning Yall
I started Week 4 of the 8K program and lord was it long. I ran 40 minutes at 11 minute mile pace, do you know that is fast. The last 6 minutes was so freaking hard at that pace but I absolutely refused to slow down.
My mind started playing tricks on me saying stuff like, you ran long enough, your knee hurts, your underwear are up your butt and man it hurts, your ankle is twisting. But I pushed it all out my head and kept moving.
Oh lord Yall. I ate m&m's on Sat and Sun and I had cake on Sunday. That is why I ran like the wind this morning. So now it's back on track with the eating and working out.
I hope you all have a great run.

Morning Talisha
Congrats on Week 2. Can I give you some advice?? OK, Stop doing weeks over and over, there is no need to, you do it and you move on to the next week. I am not one that likes to get stagnate I like to keeps it moving and making progress. By doing it over and over your stalling your progress so keep it moving girl.
Congrats on the 5K, so what if you walked it, you still did it and i'm proud of you for that.
Keep up the great work, your doing really well.

I fell asleep on the couch last night about 11:45pm as we had an incredibly long day. Hubby fell asleep in the bedroom. We were both so tired he never came to find me and I did not wake up until 4:45am.
Clock was set for 5am! My mind started with all the excuses to go sleep until 5:30 and forget the workout.
Thought about those 'fried chicken skins' I had no business eating Friday and Lee's 'work though it' mentality. Ignored the little voice. Went in the bedroom. Cut off the clock, laid next to hubby for 5 minutes and got up at 5am and completed week 3 day 1 couch 25k.
Got those new tennis so I was just as bouncy as can be. Enjoyed the workout and being able to complete it. Right knee was quite so the left knee decide to chime in. Going shut both of them up!
Thanks for continuing to post your progress and encouraging the rest of use to MOVE MOVE MOVE I mean RUN RUN RUN!
If I am gonna eat like a fat girl, then I gotta workout
like a skinny girl!
