Well that explains it. I have just gotten back in the habit of drinking my protein shakes everyday. So, I will see if the sweet craves disappear by next week.  I am noticing that I want to snack every now and than and I don't have snacks in my house for me, I also need help in that dept as well.

I am not sure what kind of money you want to spend but Juniors Cheese cakes come in sugar free.  I have not tried them yet but I got a cheesecake as a mother's day gift.  You can have it delivered via UPS to you.  They are kind of pricy but I do know that the regular cheesecakes are good.

Good luck with the sweet tooth.  Iknow just what that is like.  Good to know that come from a lack of protein.  I will have to keep an eye on that.

Whom ever said that people who have WLS are taking the easy way out, have never had this experience.  This is a journey and a major challenge.  Step by step I am striving to make it as a loser!!

Lots of sugar-free items out.  Also consider making a fruit smoothie...naturally sweet and provides an opportunity if you add protein.  Also a recent article stated that eating a cup of raisins helps with sugar cravings.

Hi Pearl,
I'm having that same problem wanting to eat cookies. I'm glad to know that less protein intake might be the cause of  a sweet tooth. So I'm going to try not to even have any sweets. I will try to intake more protein and less sweets. But we all know that the best thing is not to have SWEETS at all, because thats where we'll start gainig weight again and we don't want to do that.
THIS IS A DAILY STUGGLE FOR ME. SO STAY FOCUS AND STRONG WHERE IN THIS THING TOGETHER. We want to be on the losing side gurl. BE BLESSED!!!!!!!!!!
