Question for all the single folks

IDK.  I wish I had a dollar for everytime that someone asked me this.

Relationship petrify me. The last ones got me shook.  I'm not in a hurry to repeat those disasters anytime soon.

I'm single because I am raising a 10 yr old boy. I don't want just anyone around him. I date but haven't found anyone serious about settling down. I have been single for sometime and I actually like it. I must admit I do miss the companionship at times but there is nothing like the freedom of doing what you want, when you want to do it.

Preach it

I am single because I have only recently entertained the idea of letting someone in. I have trust issues as well and feel strongly that the so called law of averages is not in my favor. Have doubts that I will ever meet that person that truly "gets" me....my soul mate. 

Its going to take a special person to deal with me so in the meantime I'm happily dating

I'm single because during my years of super-morbid obesity, I became more and more socially isolated--and i have really lost touch with how to 'be' with someone.  I am terrified of trusting/letting someone in.  and have also come to just really enjoy being by myself -- I've always been that way though (enjoy alone time), but I do sometimes miss the companionship, and the er um, well... never mind ...    

I’m single because I’m still weighing my options. A pair and a spare is what I need at all times.   But in all seriousness I have a 7 year old and we are a package deal I have a hard enough time focusing on our needs let alone someone else’s. I don’t want to settle for Mr. Right Now just because he slangs that thang the right way!!! But thats ALWAYS a bonus!!!

I am single because I like this drama free life I am living right now. I am an Aries... we are very difficult to deal with and at sometimes can have the "It's my way or the highway" attitude. But all jokes aside I am used to be treated a certain way and refuse to be in a relationship with a man that can not or will not treat me as such. I am looking for something different than the average men I have dated in the past... Oh I forgot the #1 reason...I get bored easy!!
