What Motivates YOU ???

TO EXERCISE

I am almost 5 months post op and down 82 lbs and feeling great... I am eating right and am proud of myself for not testing the waters (not yet) with things I should not have... Have not had a drink, cookie, muffin, cake, soda, etc...

With all that said I just cannot exercise... I joined the gym in February and my only time there was to pick up my swipe card... My job allows us 1:15 during lunch for the gym and I leave work at 4 so have plenty of time to go then.

I also have a VERY good treadmill at home... I used it once for 20 minutes as a post-op and yesterday I purchased a Sauna Suit from Target...

I have OnDemand and some great exercise DVD's

My only excuse is that I work 60 hours per week ****il I settle next month) but I do not want excuses I just want to do it... But I just do not... My weight loss is coming along great and I am sure if I added exercise in the mix I would be doing even better.

I have one piece of advice for you,  Stop talking about it and just do it.  

You can always find excuses, i'm to busy, i'm tired, i'm stressed, i have to work, no time.  Just stop all that and do it.

Write down each day you workout on the calendar and you will be proud of yourself at the end of the week seeing how much you have done.

I don't enjoy working out but I never miss a day unless i'm half dead or it's Sunday, my rest day.

Thanks Lee... I am going to try to make it to the gym about 2 says per week and do at least 2-3 days at home... I would feel different if I didnot have my treadmill... It is right there next to my bed so I see no reason why I should not... I even planned to wake up 1/2 early to do it but I will put my best foot forward and make it happen.

Yep, that is what I tell myself...when I want to make an excuse not to workout..."GIRL DONT TALK ABOUT BE ABOUT IT" and when Im done working out and Im sweating and my legs feel like jello...Im SO proud of myself and I feel wonderful.

You can do it.  Just imagine how much more weight you would lose if you worked out?  Keep up the good work and always remember....YOU CAN DO IT!

Thanks Prettydee... I am going to be home by 4:30 and change my clothes, hop on that treatmill and get to work... I am also going to get up early (1/2) and see how that works.

My motivation is the skinny ass *****es I see in the gym! Seriously! That and my personal trainer fees. Everytime I don't feel like going to the gym, I quantify it by saying, "If I don't get my ass to the gym today, I'm losing X amount of money." It works (almost) everytime.

What truely motivates me to exercise is I do want to be flabby once all the weight is gone and I know it is good for me. It a habit for me now so if I still end up flabby in the once my excess weight is gone it will not be because I did not try and keep it toned.

My motivation is seeing how small my clothes are getting!

GorgeousIsa, it is hard as hell! But we have to do it! I don't even go to the gym anymore. My sister and I look alike so she uses my membership until it runs out in August. But I do my treadmilll 30-45 minutes 4 nights a week. I only do it in the evening, I dont have time in am I like to sleep as much as possible. And I walk during my lunch hour.

JUST DO IT!
