Why the flaming face before your thread title? Are you struggling? Please remember this journey can be a big head trip.
I don't have quite 5 moments but here ya go:
1. scrub pants literally fell off of me at work-sign to buy new scrubs
2. Realized I am exactly a 3rd of the way to my goal as of this morning.

Girl - my mama has been acting RIGHT lately - she ain't been on my nerves at ALL! LMAO. She's actually being VERY helpful with my whole plastics situation and whatnot - I am amazed.......
Am I ready? Yes and no. Ready to get it done, NOT ready for the process. I am not excited at ALL to be going under the knife again and dealing with the recovery - BUT I know i have to suck it up and gut it out because I can't keep going like I am. I have my official pre-op appt Thursday, so after that I am sure I will be nervous, scared, excited, anxious and all that crap then.......
Am I ready? Yes and no. Ready to get it done, NOT ready for the process. Thanks for the post - its good to remember these along the way - at first I thought - hey I'm nowhere near goal so no wow moments but that not true....
1) wearing the leather jacket I was given as a gift - when I first got it I could barely get my arms in it. The giver made me promise to keep it until I could wear it. Now I can and it looks good.
2) going to Calif. to visit my folks next month and not worrying that I have to get an extender seatbelt, extra seat, etc. I had become so self conscous I practically stopped flying for a while.
3) acquaintances coming up and complimenting me on how well I look these days...
4) the fact that I know there are more wow moments to come....

1.) For the first time that I can remember, I'm the smallest of my 4 siblings and I'm the youngest.
2.) My 17 yr. old daughter and I are sharing clothes.
3.) I've had to re-introduce myself to people because they didn't know who I was.
4.) The dr.'s office put the scale on 150 lbs last week/ I weigh 186 !!!!!!
5.) I have a gap between my thighs, I've never had that before and it's a weird, wonderful feeling

2. Fitting into a booth comfortably.
3. All of the skirts to my suits are now too long and falling of me because the hips and butt that used to hold up are melting away.
4. Weighing less than my husband. When we met I weighed less than him but after the children...
5. Being able to push my husband on a walk. He's 6'4" and I am 5'2" so his stride is MUCH longer than mine.
