Dating pre WLS

Sooooo I'm new to the group so Ill just throw myself right in.......

I've started my journey to have the WLS, I do an orientation this month and all that good stuff. I'm dating but I do have a main guy that I have interest in now, he's known me since middle school so he likes the sexy me that is now...lol

Sidenote:: My plan for 2009 was to just focus on this WLS and not like anyone and here his tails comes......

Did you tell the person you were going to have it? or just leave it alone
 

i guess it depends on how seriously y'all datin.

if this person is close to you, i'd think you'd tell him.  plus, if y'all gettin it on regularly, he's not gonna be able to get any when you first get home. how you gonna explain that?

I don't plan on getting in a relationship either... it's my time.

That's an intersesting one.  I wasn't really dating anyone when I had my WLS - the guy I was kickin it with (see Steve Harvey's book for what that means) went ape **** when I told him - started really tripping over me getting 'skinny' and not wanting him - newsflash - the reasons I won't want you have NOTHING to do with my weight, you're just an azzhole! LOL

I started dated my current boo about 5 mos after, but he's known me for 8 years.  His initial feedback wasn't positive - he said he only liked big girls, blah-blah-blah.  I told him I wished him nothing but success in finding a replacement big heffa to love.  He watched me keep my focus and stay on the course and he refused to let me go!  LOL

If it's REALLY love - he will adjust with you - if it's REALLY love - he's not in love with your body, he's in love  with YOU and whatever makes YOU happy will make HIM happy.
