Ok keeping it home, need experience with nausea.  Was suggested peppermint oil/pills.  I purchased today (pills) and going to start tonight.  Also going to call my GI tommorrow and my Nut is aware.  What is your take on this product?

I have no experience with peppermint pills.  But, I'm experienced in aromatherapy and can tell you that inhaling the scent of peppermint essential oil works wonders.  Also, drinking peppermint tea will work equally as well.  And in cases where you can't get the oil or tea, sugarfree peppermint Altoids do the trick too (they're the ones in the tiny tin).

If you have the EO (essential oil) and have carpeted floors, place a few drops on the carpet around where you're sitting and just breathe... but use sparingly as a little goes a LONG way.  Or you could place a few drops on a hankerchief instead.

Also, ginger tea is great.  Brewing it fresh can be a pain, so look for bagged tea at your supermarket.

Good luck, Sweets... feel better soon.

Haven't used it but do know someone with IBS and they use the peppermint oil (among other

stuff) with good results.  Seems feasible that it would help with nausea. Your Dr. can prescribe

pills or suppositories that work great also. Any ideas why you're nauseous?

Hope you feel better soon.

Thanks.  Yes, came from refilling my script for gall bladder (urso) and my pharmacist informed me nausea is a symptom.  Making some tea now and will call my surgeon in the morning ETA correct spelling

Hope you are feeling better soon. The peppermint helps as does mint tea help too. I take Zofran for nausea when it gets really bad. Take care, this is just one more bump in the road of WL.
