WHO IN THE HELL LEFT THE GATE OPEN?

words on a screen can be taken so many different ways. i think this was a great example how something so innocent can be taken so wrong and bring about all of this nonsense.
Things do get lost on a screen as opposed to speaking to someone. Have a good night!
Shontay, I have never been to the BAF forum, and quite frankly didn't know it existed. I came here by way of a link on R&R. I have to admit at first I was with Jen about the KKK comment, but then I read what you wrote, and it made good sense to me.
We on R&R have "inside" jokes, and massive probs with trolls, so that is how I took some of those comments, but I can see now that y'all have the same, and when you don't understand the "back ground" you can be lost and offended, when it is actually very innocent (not that any of us could really be accused of that.)
So thank you.

I refuse to answer that question on the grounds that I don't know the answer.

I am sorry that whole thing blew up. Personally, I love it when the BAF regulars stop by for a visit. It livens things up. And #1 Mack Mama can tell a story like nobody's business. She makes me laugh my ass off.

I graduate in 8 freakin' days, so maybe I can travel some in the near future. I have a job offer on the table, but it is in Bryan/College Station ~ home of the A&M Aggies and the George Bush Library ~ UGH!!!
It would be an 160 mile, two-way commute. So, I have a lot to think about. Unfortunately, it is the only sure thing at the moment. I will let them know my decision by Friday. I do have one other closer thing cooking, but it doesn't look so good right now.
Maybe after things settle down with that, we can head up your way.

I wasn't brought up like that - but I do wish my parents wouldn't have fed me that everyone loves everyone crap (we had everyone of every race in our house - long as you were cool and knew how to have fun, parents didn't care)... would've prepared me for a VERY rude awakening later in life... Even so... as long as they don't mess with me and mine, I could really care less...
But since I've got an a$$hole, I've got an opinion too!
I didn't come here to start trouble, I just wanted to see what was being said about my friends here. And to see talk about the KKK and such is just wrong. Have a good night.
