Question for those that exercise

You need to start eating more before your body gets use to that 300 calories and your metabolism slows down and then when you do start eating more because it has slowed down so much you will gain. If you are working out a lot you have to eat more calories because if not you will begin to get really really fatigued.
I just noticed you are still kind of a newbie, I would talk to my nut and ask for advice also.
What are you going by to count your calories burned in the gym?
Going by the exercise that you stated that you are doing, the chance that you are burning 6-700 calories is slim and none. A BIG mistake that some make is that they go by what those machine says that they burn to use this as a license to eat more. "I burned 600 calories on the elipicatial machine, so I can go eat 500 calories and still be in the black as far as my daily calories"
It is a known fact that, those machine are set to show a much higher number so that more folks will use them and feel the need to go out and buy them. It is kind of like the vanity sizing, more ladies will buy a size 8, than a size 14 so ladies clothes are the same size, the size number has just gone down.
Not trying to take away from what you are doing, I commend you and say to keep it up, but I just want to point out to you and others, dont rely on what those machine say to count your calories. A better thing is to depend on a heart monitor with a calorie counter that is right next to your skin, this is personal to you, and go by more than just a weight that you entered in the gadget.
Not every person burn calories the same, yet the machines caluated that if a person input they are 200 pounds that they burns xx number of calories. Next time...add 50 pounds to your number and your calorie burned will do the same even if you dont change a thing on the machine other than the weight and does the same intensity as before.
Well I have met my daily limit of 2 post/replies with this post, so I am out.
I just wanted to let you know that I don't just go by what the machines say. I log in dailyplate as well as fitday and have spoke to my trainer and instructor in class. I will check in to getting a monitor as well. I'm not at all saying that I burned so many calories to justify eating. I'm fine with what I'm eating and actually afraid to eat more that's why I was posting to see if I can get someone with experience to reply. Thank you for your post.
I burn about 1200 cal per work out. I make sure I get at least 800 and the surgeon says up to 1100 calories is ok. Until I started tracking calories and carbs I was somedays eating only 500 with a lot of carbs from things like yogurt. I upped my calories to a min 800 and get carbs from veggies and lower in sugar fruits.
The change got my weightloss moving.
