Old School Phrases

Forget you, forgot you, never thought about you!

I just responded to a coworker of mine who is messing with me...and it got me to thinking about stuff we used to say as kids...when we called ourselves getting folks told!

What was your phrase or a phrase that you can think of....

if you're really upset, and 'forget you' just aint strong enough you can say BLANK you and the horse you rode in on.....or BLANK you and errybody that looks like you.

My favorite zinger was, "Your big head!" as a kid.

"Ain't nothing between us but atmosphere...and your fear" .........(Back when I used to fight all the time......pre-birdwatching of course...)

Man back when somebody said that you had to fight even if you didn't want to.  Nobody wanted to be considered...  dare I say it....  SCARED. 

The other thing that made you fight? 

Your dad at home saying, "Either you fight him, or you fight ME!" 

You got that right D_A...

(If I hadn't grown up when I did...I'm sure I'd be dead or in jail.  Cause we mostly faught with nothing but our hands back in the day.  In this age we're in now.........I would either been shot or shot somebody...cause my temper was sooooo quick.)

Same here, Birdman.

When I was coming up you had to be "nice" with your hands - meaning not picking up anything to fight with.  I tell my friends all the time that if guns were as easy to get a hold of when we were kids as they are now none of us would be around to talk about the good old days.  We fought all the time at the drop of a hat back then. 

I know what you mean, Doug.

Back in the day, the fat jokes would start, I'd break out with the mother jokes, then the fight would start.  Nothing like fighting in Catholic school uniforms; ripping each other's shirts and ties (then getting more pissed because you KNEW mom was gonna KICK YO' AZZ for messing up ur school uniform,  making you fight even harder). 

But, true, Doug.  No one fights with hands any more.  And if you got ur azz kicked, you just got it kicked.  You didn't come back with a gun.
