Morning Yall
Today the time increased on running time on the program but it was quite easy so no complaints. I will be running twice a day again this week with hopes of kicking my body out of this rut it seems to have gotten into. I also need to work on my water.
School is almost out for the semester so I realize that part of my felling down may be all the stress i'm under with getting super long papers and projects along with lectures in so I have a lot on me right now but i'm not letting it stop me from working out.
I hope all you 5K'ers are doing well. April you should be on the last week if i'm not mistaken.
You guys keep up your running and come join me on the 8K deal.
I'm going to write more papers, Yall have a great day.

I am still with you Lee. Last night I completed week 8, day 1 of couch to 5k. I actually did 34 1/2 minutes of jogging instead of the recommended 28 minutes. I have my 1st event coming up so I have to push ahead to get ready for it.

My first 5k event is May 23rd and I also signed up to be part of my son's Boy Scout Troop running club and they have a 5k event May 30th. So that's 2 events in a row that I need to prepare for and both are quickly approaching.
The Troops running club also particpiates in very long runs, where they have several people doing different legs of the race. I am not sure how many miles but its like over 100 miles. They are very active, so I am looking forward to training and racing with them.
I am not a fast runner but that is something I will work on after I complete the events this months.
I am interested in doing a triathalon some time next year.
You have been doing so well with both running programs, you should participate in an event. Run for a cause (other than weight loss)

Hey Lee!! Yes I am in week 9. I did my first run yesterday and I made it through 30 minutes of running. I took a diruetic yesterday and it helped with the swelling I was feeling in my knees. I will do Day 2 tomorrow and finish up on Thursday...YEAH!! I will take a few days off and start the 8k next week!

Congratulations on Week 9 Your final week.
You are almost done April, I am so proud of you girl. I never thought about diruetics for my knees but it's not good for me to take those cause I run in my sauna suit and I sweat like craazzyy. I did start running twice a day last week and my left knee is hating me for it so I ace bandage it up with a ice pack to keep it really cold and take away the swelling.

Hey Lee,
I bought a memory chip for my phone on Friday and downloaded the pod cast over the weekend. I was sooo gun-hoe about starting the couch to 5k. I get to the gym, standing on the treadmill and guess what. My damn headphones don't fit into the freak'n phones jack. damn damn digity donk. I was so disappointed in myself for not checking it ahead of time.
So I just proceeded to walk for 4 min and run for 1 min for half hour.
Next time gadget!
